What are digitized signatures?

A digitized signature is an image of your signature that you can place in PDF documents.

You will create a digitized signature in Foxit Reader using one of the following methods:

  • Type: Type your name.
  • Draw: Draw your signature in the field using your mouse or signature pad.
  • Import: If you have a signature file, upload the file.
  • Paste:  Use the Snipping Tool to copy the image from an existing document, then paste it into the Paste field in Foxit.

A saved signature can be inserted in any PDF you open with Foxit Reader.

You can save multiple signatures. For instance, you may need one signature that is only initials, another that has your name spelled out, and a third that has your initials and title.
