Iowa Courts Online does not display court documents. It only displays events.

If you are a party on the case

Log into the eFile system to view the documents.

For free access to public case documents

• Go to the clerk of court offices at the county courthouse where the case was filed. You can view public documents at the public access terminals. No registration is required. 
• Otherwise, ask the clerk of court of the corresponding district court for the documents: Court Directory.

For example, if you log in at the Polk County Courthouse, you can see public documents filed in Polk County.
